Download Instructions
If you are using Internet Explorer
for Windows:
- Click on the PDF file link you wish to open.
- The document will automatically begin to download and
Adobe Acrobat will open. (If you don't have Acrobat installed on your
computer, you will be prompted to choose a program to open the file
with. At this time you must install Acrobat. Click on the "Adobe"
icon at the bottom of the page).
- Acrobat will prompt you to allow FSA to access a piece
of information on your computer. This will be embedded into your PDF
so you may only open the file from the computer you used to download.
Click "OK" to continue.
- Acrobat will then prompt you to allow the information
being retrieved by FSA to be sent via a non-secure server. Click "OK".
- The file will download and automatically open. (Note:
If your default Internet web browser is not already open, Acrobat will
open it to download the PDF file).
- If this is your first time downloading a PDF file from
FSA, you will be asked to choose a location where this (and all future)
PDF files will be saved to.
- You may get another prompt from Acrobat before your
file opens. If you do, it may say: "Only Certified Acrobat Plug-ins
are allowed while you are viewing this file." Click "Relaunch".
Acrobat will close and then open with only the plug-ins permitted and
your file will open automatically. The next time you open Acrobat, your
original settings will be restored.
If you are using Netscape:
- Click on the PDF file link you wish to open.
- You will be prompted to "Open File Directly"
or "Save File to Disk". Choose "Save File to Disk".
- You will be prompted to choose a spot to save the file
to. You may choose to put the file anywhere on your computer.
- The initial file saved will be called Request.fdf:
you will find it in the directory previously specified. Click on the
Request.FDF file to open it. (If you don't have Acrobat installed on
your computer, you will be prompted to choose a program to open the
file with. At this time you must install Acrobat. Click on the "Adobe"
icon at the bottom of the page).
- Acrobat will prompt you to allow FSA to access a piece
of information on your computer. This will be embedded into your PDF
so you can only open the file from the computer you used to download.
Click "OK" to continue.
- Acrobat will then prompt you to allow the information
being retrieved by FSA to be sent via a non-secure server. Click "OK".
- The file will then download into this location you
specified previously and will automatically open. (Note: If your default
Internet web browser is not already open, Acrobat will open it to download
the PDF file).
If you are using Internet Explorer for Mac:
- Click on the PDF file link you wish to open.
- A file called Request.fdf will download. And Adobe
Acrobat will open.
- Acrobat will prompt you to allow FSA to access a piece
of information on your computer. This will be embedded into your PDF
so you may only open the file from the computer you used to download.
Click "OK" to continue.
- Acrobat will then prompt you to allow the information
being retrieved by FSA to be sent via a non-secure server. Click "OK".
- The PDF file will now download and automatically open.
This may take a few minutes depending on your connection speed, but
your "Download Manager" will detail the progress of the download.
(Note: If your default Internet web browser is not already open, Acrobat
will open it to download the PDF file).
- If this is your first time downloading a PDF file from
FSA, you will be asked to choose a location where this (and all future)
PDF files will be saved to. Then Acrobat will open the PDF file you
selected to download.
- You may get another prompt from Acrobat before your
