Community Outreach Program

The Community Outreach Program strengthens and supports seniors enabling them to live safely and independently. This is a free service to those that qualify. The Community Outreach program helps under served seniors receive the care they need and deserve.

A biligual/bicultural Outreach Manager provides seniors linkages to community services, companionship, translation and friendly visiting.

Support Services
FSA staff coordinate community services that seniors need. These services have included meal delivery, transportation to doctor and dentist appointments and advocacy with organizations such as Social Security, Medicare, Visiting Nurses, Hospice Care and the Santa Barbara County Immigration Department.

This program is funded through the generous support of the Area Agency on Aging, United Way of Santa Barbara and Family Service Agency contributors.
